Clearwater averages over a meter of snowfall each year with even more falling in the Provincial Park and surrounding mountains. One of the best ways to explore this beautiful area is on cross country skis.
Nordic Ski Rentals include skis, boots and poles. Pick-up in store, return by the same time next day.
Clearwater BC's Candle Creek Trail network offers locals and tourists 28km of groomed ski trails suitable for all abilities. Dogs are welcome on designated cross country ski and snowshoe trails.
$10 from each rental will be donated to the Wells Gray Outdoors Club.

Candle Creek Trail Network
The Candle Creek trail system is comprised of 28km of groomed ski trails just north-east of Clearwater. The Wells Gray Outdoors Club has built a very warm and comfortable chalet just above the parking-lot, which is open for the use of members and visitors during the ski season. Visitors are always welcome. There is a nominal fee for trail-use of $10 per visit which is built into our rental price. Consider becoming a member to have unlimited trail access.
