Jackrabbits Cross Country Ski Program

Introduce your kids to the fun of cross-country skiing with the Wells Gray Outdoors Club Rabbits Program! Held at the beautiful Candle Creek Trails in Clearwater, BC, this popular winter program helps children ages 4 to 14 develop their skiing skills, build confidence, and enjoy the outdoors with friends.

The Rabbits Program offers a fun, supportive environment for young skiers of all abilities. Through games, activities, and guided instruction, participants learn essential cross-country skiing techniques while progressing through a series of skill development badges.

Program Details

• Ages: 4–14 years
• Location: Candle Creek Trails, Clearwater, BC
• Season: January and February
• Schedule: Sundays at 2:00 PM, beginning the first Sunday in January
• Duration: 8 weeks
• Lesson Length: Approximately 1 hour
• Organized By: Wells Gray Outdoors Club

Each lesson is followed by hot chocolate and cookies, giving young skiers a chance to warm up, socialize, and celebrate their accomplishments!
