About Blade King

Blade King was originally started by Jerry and Anita Riddell who purchased the 1994 Blademaster Guspro Custom Radius skate sharpening machine. 

After serving Clearwater for over 2 decades it was time for the Riddell's to move on. Dennis Greffard stepped up and purchased the skate sharpening business to ensure the community still had a place to get their skates sharpened!

Maveric Northcott purchased the Blademaster machine from Dennis Greffard in September 2022, with the intention of reviving the Blade King brand in collaboration with Wells Gray Outfitters. Maveric has since purchased additional skate sharpening equipment as well as expanding the hockey retail offering! We are proud to continue carrying the torch for one of Clearwater's most iconic brands as the North Thompson Valley's Hockey Store!
